The HPC Kekab-120 key cabinet is equipped with a digital electronic keypad from Kitlock featuring quick reprogramming, usage indicators and an audible low battery alert.
We add the digital combination lock to this 120 key cabinet and to almost any HPC key cabinet. (or any other key locking key cabinet for that matter).
The Kitlock KL1000 has four levels of access available (Master Code, Sub-Master Code, User Code and Technician Code). Each code can be programmed very quickly and each level can set, change or remove codes at the lower levels. The Master and Sub-Master codes may be up to 8 digits long while the user codes are 4 digits. For more information, please see the Kitlock KL1000 Programming Instructions.
While the 2 AAA batteries will last a long time (up to 15,000 operations), there is a low-battery indicator and battery override feature making sure you can always open the lock. (Once the red LED low battery indicator lights, the lock will operate approximately 100 more times before stopping) Please see the Programming Instructions for directions on the use of the Battery Failure Override.
Other features include temporary keypad lockout after 3 consecutive incorrect code entries. The lock will be inoperable for 10 seconds.
