Impact-Resistant Polycarbonate

This locking thermostat guard is not ordinary plastic or acrylic, but polycarbonate (the same material used in many eyeglass lenses). Polycarbonate offers physical protection because it is highly break-resistant. Thus, it is an excellent choice not only to help protect thermostats from unauthorized temperature adjustment, but from vandalism and accidental damage as well.

This model is tinted a dark gray making the temperature setting difficult to read in normal lighting conditions.
