KeKab Key Cabinets

The key cabinets listed here are a representative sample of the key storage options available from HPC.

Key Cabinets from HPC are designed to control and secure from 8 to 730 keys.

The key cabinets from HPC, known as KEKABs, are perfect for home, business, real estate, education or anywhere that needs centralized key control. These key cabinets may be mounted on a wall, close to a desk, or into a wall opening.

All Kekabs, except for the Slimline and Pegboard models are Slotted style key cabinets.

Each HPC KEKAB key cabinet system comes complete with:

White key tags: each key tag has a shiny, nickel plated snap-hook which can hold several keys. The key tags are embossed with numbering for easy identification and tracking.

Slotted key racks: This style of key storage allows you to store a lot of keys in a relatively small space.

"Out Tags": These control tags identify which keys are on loan from the key cabinet. The Out Tags are made of a heavy, yellow card stock and allow you to record information about the loaned key. Additional Out Tags are available separately.

Lock Location Chart: A key control booklet where you can record information about who received the loaner key and when.

Powder Coat Paint: The unique process HPC uses provides an attractive yet durable finish for their key cabinets. The utilization of a neutral sand color allows these key cabinets to be installed in almost any location.

Heavy gauge steel construction: Kekabs come equipped with full length, piano hinged doors. The cabinets are generally 22 guage steel and most doors are 18 guage.

A 5 wafer tumbler cam lock with two keys is standard in most Kekab key cabinets. Other locks are available such as a high security pin tumbler, tubular lock with popout T-handle. Other locking options, such as keyed-alike, master-keyed or furnished with combination lock or dual control locks at an additional charge are also available.

In addition, we can customize most of the HPC Kekab cabinets with a custom combination - either mechanical or electronic - lock. In particular, the newest addition to our line of electronic locks, the KL1000-G3 from Kitlock, gives you the ability to require 2 unique PIN codes to be entered in order to open the cabinet.
